Why we built HaulEvo

HaulEvo started with a frustration I kept running into.

My name is Aaron, and I own real estate. At turnover, I’d regularly need to hire a junk removal company or rent a dumpster to handle a cleanout. Every time, I hit the same wall. I’d search Google and ask in local investor groups, and what I found was a mess.

If I submitted my information to one of the big national lead sites, my phone immediately exploded — calls, texts, and emails from “local providers,” some of them relentless. If a result wasn’t one of those lead-selling sites, it was usually a national chain. And I prefer to support local businesses when I can.

When I did manage to find a genuine local provider, verifying the basics — were they actually licensed and insured — was like pulling teeth. There was no single place to compare real local companies, see real pricing, and reach out on my own terms.

I looked for a better way. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to build it.

We never sell your contact information. When you find a provider on HaulEvo, that connection is between you and them — not a lead resold to eight competitors who’ll hound you for a week.

We only list companies that genuinely serve your area, with pricing that reflects your local market. And we surface the things that took me hours to verify on my own — licensing, insurance, and real customer reviews — right on the profile.

We’re a directory, not a lead broker. That distinction shapes every decision we make.
